What we collect

• Page counts. The homepage shows total and daily view counts. We store a daily counter and a truncated, salted hash of the requesting IP address so repeat views are not double-counted. The raw IP is never written to storage.
• Device submissions. If you use “Submit a device”, we store the model, build, region, unlock status and any text you enter. Do not submit serial numbers, IMEIs, or personal data. Submissions are public after review.
• Feedback. If you send feedback, we store the message and the page it refers to. No account is required.

What we do not do

No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no cross-site profiles, no account system, and no sale of data.

Retention

Daily view counters and the corresponding uniques are kept for up to 90 days. Security logs are kept for up to 30 days. Device submissions and feedback remain until removed or superseded.

Your choices

You can ask for a submission or feedback message to be removed by mailing getbackyahroots@gmail.com. Because we do not keep accounts or raw IP addresses, we may not be able to identify older aggregate counts.
